Weekly Remote Learning Plans >




We want to thank you for being patient and supportive as we have worked to set a strong foundation as we move forward with “Remote Learning.”

  • We have made food available for any school age child in need of breakfast and/or lunch daily from 11:30am - 1:00pm at Elizabeth Hastings Middle School FPS Nutrition Services Webpage
  • Each week, PK-8 students will receive learning plans from their teachers. High School students should receive work from their teachers through their Google Classrooms. This week, we have increased the amount of time assignments should take. We also ask that your child turn in some evidence of what they have been working on. Individual teachers should have given you and/or your child guidance on how to do that.

Know that we have worked to make assignment options that are accessible to students regardless of what supplies are available at home.  We just ask that you encourage students to stay connected to their learning and do as many tasks as they can. If you have any concerns or need additional support, please reach out to your child’s teacher.

As Dr. Baldwin stated in his video address, we are amidst a health crisis. Our hope is to create some structure and stability for the children of our community. We know this is a tremendously challenging time, but know that together we will make it through. I look forward to returning to normalcy and the way of life many of us took for granted. We have purposely focused first on the social and emotional well being of our school community. In addition to weekly learning plans, this website houses resources for student services including counseling, special education, as well as support regarding grief and loss, among others.
